it only happens like every one or two months for me, but just for your info. i have a slight case of OCD and i brush my teeth for 4-5 minutes so my mouth is quite clean.

and there is a small difference from the inside of your mouth shedding to your skin cells shedding and you shedding your hair, i just don't know why the mouth sheds cuz i never asked a doc. maybe you never noticed your mouth shed?

you probably do kiss someone whose mouth sheds..they just don't outright say it cuz it none of your business. it just skin cells. you lick someone neck or other parts of the body right?..therefore you get there skin in your mouth... skin cells shed on an every second basis so you cant argue there. thats where dust comes from

I'm the person who initially wrote this goofy post, and my mouth really does shed! Like mischiefairy said, I only notice it every few months, usually in the morning right after I wake up. I also brush my teeth for an obsessively long time, so maybe that has something to do with it. Either way, it doesn't bother me; I just wanted to know if it was normal! and public opinion seems to indicate NO

i could care less what the hell people think about a thin layer of skin cells shedding off of the inside of my cheek, are they looking in it everyday? and inspecting to see if my mouth is clean? no ..i know my mouth is clean....maybe everyone else's' mouth sheds too just in their sleep or something so they don't notice, and they swallow the evidence!

look, i have already admitted to having hairy moles all over my body. Does that make me a freak? Maybe. But - I'm not saying you are a freak because of your abnormal skin shedding.
