i used to be satanic, but its normal as long as she doesnt get you into Satanism by force your ok, but i agree it is distrubing, she's messing with fire and i were her i'd stop before it gets worse.

You will discover when you next go round that it is also normal for the satanic friend of yours to sacrifice you.

Anyways, I suppose it's a little odd, I've never seen anything like that before and I'm not even slightly satanic, so i really don't know anything about it. It's nice that your friend wnated to make you comfortable though. But if you feel it's odd I'd think you should have your friend over to your place instead.

WTF!? Dude... That's crazy. One moment their living room is for praising Satan and the next it's for company. I would have been freaked out like 'whoa'.

As I understand it (and I know a few witches and satanists myself) witches and satanists rarely (if ever) use curses, certainly not over entire towns. If you get a lot of people doing that, then they're not so much witches or satanists as just plain weirdos...

Or it may be that they go up there for their more peaceful pagan rites, but a load of people get paranoid and think it's cursing jus because of all the anti-witch and anti-satanist propaganda that they've been fed over the years.

(Just to clarify, I am not a witch or a satanist, I am more a freethinker than anything else. I do believe in the power of prayer, but I don't believe a God is necessary for prayer to work.)

If more people looked up "Satanism" as it presently exists and studied their beliefs, they might feel less threatened. Some of it actually makes a fair amount of sense to me.

Satanism is more about rejecting God from a christian stand point. With the recent upset of religion in schools it shocks me that people still believe this BS. The Bible is parable with stories to guide you in life it is not fact, it is about living a pure life and being healthy and praying or meditating there are many good lessons such as tolerance, sharing, loving yourself and your neighbors and this would create a heaven like existence here in life.(new testament) But most christians or really any extremists, see it as all fact and thats not what it is about, is a way to be happy and healthy. BUT most use it as a way to criticize others and yell at you that your going to hell blah blah. There is nothing wrong with satanism as long as they are not infringing on your human rights and you have the right to defend yourself against anyone who would hurt you wether christian, muslim, catholic, or satanist. I would not worry about it. Talk to her about it instead of jumping to conclusions IF shes young she might think it's about drinking blood etc. but for most it probably is not. She has the flower pics to be less offensive to common church going people and visitors. But my friends who are into it would never hide it. It should not be hidden if people can not accept it they should not go there. but then again grandma and grandpa my show up unexpectedly. Ask questions instead of judging, sometimes it's the music scene, or hollywood etc. that influence people. Don't be afraid to learn about it then judge for yourself. As long as you don't renounce your god he or she will still forgive you.
