what happened to my bff

ever since this new girl came to your school shes tottaly not hanging out w/ me anymore.we`re like very close friends its like we`re sisters.so,shes totally ingnoring me.what should i do to make her hang out w/ me again and is it normal to ignore your bff when a new girl comes to school?
