I'm a black woman. Yes, I would date someone of a different race. To be honest most men of my race are stereotyped horribly. Sometimes what makes matters worse is that majority of it is true and most take pride in living up 2 it. I no I may sound like a ignorant bitch, but I try not 2 judge them all the same I try giving them a chance. The point of dating is finding a compatible mate. I support interracial dating all the way.

I'm a white guy. Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and I was dating I only had one rule: Girls had to be attractive or they had to be really nice. No matter what their race is, pretty is pretty. If I could actually get along with them, there would be a second date. 18 years ago I ended up marrying an Asian girl. We've been quite happy. She is very strong willed (yeah, I'm whipped)and can get annoying but she has a heart of gold and she's pretty.

If your family has some objections, all I can suggest is that you ask them to get an education and try living about a thousand years ahead of the dark ages.

Cultural differences can be a problem in a relationship but the race has little to do with it. Being an atheist, I had more problems dating religious white chicks than anyone else.
Religions will cause more trouble in a relationship than anything else. Some religions will welcome a green and purlple polka dot six legged alien who snacks on human toes of the same faith before they'd welcome a member of the same race but of different faith. That's a major consideration when dating but the color of their skin is meaningless.

Do you think there's no problem with you Shunti? because I'm sure a black man can truly say something similar against black girls... they're not decent, they use raw language unnecessarily, they are quite materialistic, etc. but I also try not to see everyone as the same but if you ask my opinion on the best girls for a serious relationship, then it's Asians (if you find the right one, her pride doesn't match her beauty). I think you judged her to harshly, and took what she said way out of context. I also think what you said is in a way racist, and insulting to the human race. I don't see why this is still an issue anyway. This country is the melting pot, and will continue to be like that so either you conform and accept or you choose to object (didn't mean for that to rhyme), and if you object to it soon you will find more and more people won't be thinking the way you do anymore.
