Are girls more fireproof than boys

A few months ago my girlfriend started pinching cigarettes out with her fingers. At first it was only if she could not find an ashtray but now she tends to do it all the time. A few days ago we were at a resturant and three other people at our table knocked the cherry ends off the cigarettes they had just lit when the food arrived, when the smoke started to drift our way she used the tip of her finger to press the embers out. She claims that her fingers have become a lot harder since she started pinching her own cigarettes out. I have seen other people break the end off a cigarette but I have never seen anyone else pinch it completely out. Have any of you ever seen a girl put a cigarette out this way or even done it themselves.

Do you think it's normal?
