is this illegal?

Im a 13 year old girl. and this summer i met this kid who was 15 and i was 12. and we started talking since then. and then he turned 16 and i turned 13 a month after. and we started dating shortly after i turned 13. and its been about a half of a year. and we had sex. right after he got his license, and his car. Is this legal? and dont call me a name or anything i get enough of that at school. and your not gonna change my mind i love him. deal with it. I just want to know if its legal. or how long it can be legal for.

He really should be dating someone his own age, and it's quite possible that he's just using you since you are young and impressionable. Yes, it's legal, but morally wrong. Someone who is 16 should not be dating a prebuescent child. Yes, you are a child, who is on the verge of becoming a teenager. You should really consider the consequences of what this could lead to.

uhh...no, its illegal, ur 13. ur not allowed to have sex til ur 16. and it will definately be illegal once he turns 18 coz u wont be 16 yet so u will be underage AND he'll be an adult which makes him a pedo. lol and no need to get aggresive bout people calling u a slut or whatever, people wont wanna help u if u get angry. ive been dating someone 2 and a half yrs older than me since i was 13, dont listen to restless. just coz he's older, doesnt mean he's using u.

but be careful. like i dont know the guy or anything but dont let him break your heart. You never know, sometimes the sweetest guys can be the ones that betray you. he might just be using you. but again, i dont know this guy so i shouldnt be jumping to conclusions.

There is only one State that allows a child 14 to be at the age of consent. A 16 yr old having sex with a 13 yr old is illegal. Technically both could be taken in. HIm for felony statutory Rape. Her as A juvenile misdemeanor. If author wants to shoot the name of the State they are in I can find out for sure what the law reads and post it.

Kristina is right that it's a moot point until someone wants to say what state you are deling with. Laws and the way people deal with children are different in every state. So if the writer wants to tell what state it is, I say challenge Kristina to find out the truth.

Let me explain the law of sex.

Hetrosexual couples(a woman and a man) may have sex when they both exceed the age of 16.

Lesbian(a woman and a woman) and HomoSexual(a man and a man) couples may not have sex until they both exceed the age limit of 18.

You really shouldn't be having sex, but it is your choice and no-one can stop you, stand up for what you believe in, even if you're standing alone.
