I know this bloke in my home town who is 'into' Crab Boiling.

He gets live crabs and drops them back side first into boiling water.

This act makes them scream for a few seconds before they die, he then removes the poisoned bit and eats them.

When he goes out to the local pub he tells locals about it with great enthusiasm, he also replicates their screaming noises and laughs about it.

Is it normal to be so obsessed with crab boiling and their screaming ?

This is the way crabs are cooked. as long as he talks about enjoying eating them as well I suppose theres nothing wrong with it

He thoroughly enjoys eating them, its the way he enthuses over their screaming that alarms me.

He really, really does go on and on about it, replicating the noises in public in a bizarre way !!!

Having said that though he does also enthuse over eating them.

Yes, he has them transported alive from Grimsby docks which is around 50 miles away and insists they are delivered alive.

I understand that you think its ok to do what he is doing, what I am trying to get across is the question of....

Is it normal for him to be so enthusiastic about them, he gets into a frenzy when they arrive and goes wild when they scream like he is sacrificing them to 'the gods' or something.

the boiling of crabs is very normal in the land of tange, hitchman is to crab boiling as ronaldinho is 2 football...a genius! what i would like 2 say is....is it normal 4 him 2 enthuse about the boiling and screaming in a public environment when his mrs has her hand down his arse, maybe it is this what makes him scream and not his impersonation of a crab being boiled

seems like some pathological behaviour to me very dangerous he might go on to bigger things next to get more thrills like lobsters!!!!! but seriously seems pretty cruel really espescially gettin a rush out of hearing them scream and immitating the sounds in public i would say not normal but sounds like a laugh!

Its not just the case of him immitating them, its the way he immitates them, like he is in a frenzy, so much enthusiasm.

It is funny though to watch a grown man in his 60's to behave in such a manner.
