Yeah, i feel the same, used 2 go all the time, something like every Sunday for 6-7 years straight, now though i've either got way too much schoolwork, or out too late saturday nights to wake up in time

If you don't like the boring catholic services, you can always visit other religions/churches, they do accept and like visitors.

its allright as long as you have undying devotion to god. I went to sunday school as a young lad and i believe they say it is all right to do.

Church really is very very boring. If you have a cool and interesting priest that can make it easier, but it's mainly just a trial. If you get nothing from it then God doesn't want to force you to go. God did not invent church as an hour-long punishment on Sundays (God did not invent church at all, a couple of old guys in italy did).

I go to church sometimes to sing in the choir with my family. Beyond that it bores the shit out of me and I don't go. I am not going to Hell for that (maybe for some other things, but not that).

If you believe in God, than you believe that God created this earth and everything on it. If you believe that, than technically everywhere on earth is considered "God's house" so staying home and worshipping him/her on your own is still the same as worshipping him in a church.

I'm a confirmed catholic too and that happened to me as well. You probably won't agree with me on this, but it really does work. You're probably looking for "more." Find a friend with a crazy protestant church and go there. The crazier they are (dancing in the aisles, whooping it up, hollering, singing crazy songs, speaking in tongues,) The more fun it is! Believe me, it's waaaaaay enlightening. Just go with an open mind and an open heart.

the church uses people and maninipulates people to get money and support, this, i dont approve of.

i feel the same way. If God has a plan for me, and he does not wish for me to attend church all the time, then so be it.

Well never been to cathloc church never will im christian i dont attend church i have before but you dont have to see it through a priests eyes to understand gods will and what not

Nothing is wrong with this, I grew up without going to church, I've only been to a church twice in my life, just to experience what it is, and Satan corrupts the church, because the church is the enemy of Satan, so that's where the lies and battle is at.

You don't need a pastor or a church to get one on one with our Lord Jesus Christ, because it's -your- personal walk with him.

By the way, look up Dispensation, you'll get a revelation of a life time.

Thats a great way of looking at it! I think since people having been going to church so many years, religious people feel they must go or God will not be pleased. But what i learned at Sunday school was that as long as you live a good life, pray and be kind to people, you will go to heaven when you die.

its normal. soon you will realize religion is bullshit. You should search for some bible quotes and realize that the bible is evil.

Im not a catholic but as a deciple of christ i will tell u that god can be worshippedwell its kinda like carpool except its worshiping god together except u have a highly educated person talkin about god where u can learn stuff

now with it being boring for me i couldnt set through a catholic sermon but just think it could be wour priest or church or denomination
try a few different churches an see i u like any better than the catholic faith

I don't go to church anymore ether. I think the last time I went was... 5 years ago, when when I was in highschool. If/when I do get to St. Peter at the pearly gates, I don't think he's going to say, "Sorry... you didn't get dressed up, go to a big building, sing, and listen to someone talk on Sunday's. Looks like your going to hell."
I just find it hard to believe in a god that will only allow Christians that spent 2 1/2 hours a week with other Christians into heaven.

Catholics believe you can talk to god where ever you are so it dunt matter whether u go to church or not
