Is It Normal?
What do you think?
missed birthday
I have a friend at work who forgot my birthday. I have never forgotten hers and always go out of my way to get her something special...not anything expensive but just something I think she will like. Is it normal to expect someone I have known for 5 years and consider a good friend to at least care enough to say "happy birthday"? It's not like I am crying or losing sleep over it but it did hurt my feelings.

Forgot???
You have to remember that some people have alot going on in their lives and the last thing on their mind is getting a good friend something for their birthday... I've forgtten about my BEST friends birthday. (I've known him 6 years) and I didn't realize it past until I asked him when his birthday is... (I forgot) I wouldn't take it too much to heart... We all forget sometimes
i know how your friend feels
Your friend might have a problem with remembering things like A.D.D. or parkinsons, otherwise it might just be that she is too busy to remember. My friend since kindergardens birthday passed yesterday and mine was just 6 days before. i didn't realize till we had our yearly combined bday party and i had no present. dont lose sleep over it though
I don't think it's that big of a deal. Even if she did forget, a lot of people don't care about birthdays. If you get upset at your friend because of something trivial like this, maybe you should reconsider either your friendship or your maturity.
From now on stop remembering hers.

And if you desire female attraction then being sensitive like this is not the way.
I even forget my own birthday, so it's not weird that she has forgotten your birthday, but I think it's not weird either to be hurt by it.
I forget my own bithday to birthdays just stop being special one day and from then on you need a calander to remember them :-(
