Is it too late for me?

When I was in high school I started off making good grades my Junior and Senior year my grades slipped bad. I held a "C" average enough too graduate. My Senior year I found out my father was addicted too crack cocaine I took it pretty hard. He put our family through so much stress especially this summer. He's lost so many jobs. After a few months later my grandmother became ill so I had too take over as woman of the house so my own life has been put on hold.

Now I would like too have the life of a regular college student, but I'm 20 and my GPA is bad. Plus my family can't afford college. I really don't feel like I'm college material sometimes but I want that life and I want an education and a good job, a better life. My dream was too attend Georgia State. I'm I too late for my college "dreams". If not what should I do? I'm so lost and confused.
Do you think it's normal?

Sounds like you need to put yourself first for once. Work hard and try and get extra academic awards, maybe if you improve alot, your might get a scarloship (soz, cant spell lol) If not you could always get a job and help pay? Good Luck!
You don't have a chance. Your grammar is awful. Stick to wiping granny's ass.
It's never to late for college. Many students cannot afford to go away to college either. They work full-time or part-time and attend classes working toward their degrees.

I suggest you attend classes at your local community school.

Apply for Federal Financial Aid, here . . .

. . . Ooops Community COLLEGE.
I agree, community college. They have open admissions and will take anyone. Once you work hard there, you'll be able to pull your GPA up. Also in an admissions essay when you transfer to a 4-year college, you might want to explain a bit about your personal background (as much as you feel comfortable with).
yes
aww i feel so bad for you, send your dad off to rehab and go to a community college and trasnfer into he college of your dreams!
yeah community college sounds right for you. Sorry about your dad, its too bad you have to deal with that situation. I hope he gets treatment.
go to community college for a year, maybe two years, and work your ass off to get the highest grades possible.

If you do well, you can probably transfer into a better college after that.

Good luck to you! You can do it, it is NOT too late.
I realize that my comment is exactly what others have said. Sorry about wasting the bandwidth
