The story of the Nursery Rhyme relates to a family who lived in a tree house which was formed within a massive Yew tree.

The Yew Tree concerned was believed to be nearly 2000 years old. The family were charcoal burners who lived in Shining Cliff Woods, Ambergate, Derbyshire in the 1700's.

The ancient occupation of Charcoal Burning would be conducted by people who actually lived in the woods. Just like like this family. Their names were Kate and Luke Kennyon and they lived in what was locally called the 'Betty Kenny Tree' - a colloquialism for Kate Kenyon.

The Kenyons had 8 children and a tree bough was hollowed out to act as a cradle for their children! Shining Cliff Woods was owned at the time by the Hurt family.

The Kenyons were favoured by the Hurts who commissioned the artist James Ward of the Royal Academy to paint their portraits.

The Yew tree still exists but was severely fire damaged by vandals in the 1930s. More information may be located on the Amber Valley Borough Council website.

Christianity means "Christ like" and the religion started with the 12 apostles about hmm, way before anyone even knew what the fuck catholics were. im talking about way back before the middle ages, im talking about way way before then.

The catholic religion was made and based off of fake facts, like how mary is the savior and not Jesus. and how they changed the bible and practically re-wrote it, just like the muslum religion which is attacking america and europe. the catholic religion was also created in and around the middle ages. way after Christ. about, oh, say by 750 years.

For some reason every catholic seems to have the idea in their head that because they carry the name catholic and beacause that is their religion they will automaticly go to heaven no matter how much they sin and do not repent for it. (And bear in mind that as of recently the catholic religion is becoming known for prying to mary and the saints and acually putting them BEFORE god himself.) Here is the standpoint of most proteestants.... It doesnt matter what religion or race you are beacause god loves everyone. ANYONE can be saved, end of story. As long as you have a good relationship with god (meaning you pray to him and ask for his forgiveness), and you have asked jesus to come into your life and guide you, its doesnt matter if you are catholic or protestant, god will not condemn you. As for praying to mary...as important as she was, the ORIGINAL BIBLE (meaning the bible before the catholic church began changing it), says that you pray to ABSOLUTLEY NO ONE except the lord god himself, and that by praying to anyone else you are sinning..even if its the mother of jesus christ.
