Well, I know I told a few chatters on this site this story but bear with me. About 2 weeks ago, I went on a field trip to a university. It was for a Model UN meeting. It was during the schoolday so we were gone the whole day. The model UN mirrors the actions of the real UN and kids from other schools participate in it. We discuss and debate modern day topics like it was the real UN. Prior to the field trip my teacher told me that I do not need to speak there if i dont want, he said this trip could be used for observation too. Well i was a little nervous so I didnt speak at all. Afterward, he asked me if I spoke at all. I said no. then he called me a coward. I was about to puch him but I restrained myself. He knew i Was likely not to speak so why did he call me that?
Is it normal that he called me that even though he said to me that its allright not to speak? Is it wrong for a teacher to do that?

I'm with you, your teacher is a despicable, vile person and was dead wrong. Don't strike any teacher unless in self-defense, but you can tell the teacher where he can go which will likely end up in your suspension.

If you do not mind staying home a few days, it may be worth it. I have no respect for several teachers I've come across over the years. The bad ones left a permanent impression on me and I can recall their names, the years and the subjects they taught. There are many nasty people in the world, it is best to just avoid them if possible. It is not your responsibility to try to change them.

Don't even ask me what my opinion on the UN, but before you start making generalizations, think. I could start throwing around some British stereotypes for you, but I'm going to be the better person and leave it right here.

I thought the same thing. To call someone a coward is equivalent to trying to provoke a fight. If he knocked the teacher's teeth out would he be a coward then? It would get him expelled which is obviously not what he wants. A suspension in his senior year amounts to nothing which is why he would get if he told the teacher to drop dead.

What he called you is very wrong, especially since he told you that you didn't have to speak at all.

You should go to your school's guidance councelor and report his behavior.

Some people only careabout themselves! They could careless what happens every where else...like the U.S.A we are the great Humanitarians! Even countries that try to bully us around we hell when the need be there!

We don't run and hide...we have tos of trops in the midddle East! What do the others have? Lil or nothing!

Also for any FOOL that thinks I am running from a fight, no, I have a life read my profile...even thou you don't have your and you sit at a computer 24/7 others have a life!

I am from America's Heartland! And, might I say DAMN proud of it!

There is one thing, I being in the criminal Justice field being, wish we could do! Instead of trying to solve everyone elses problems lets take care of our own cities! I mwan some may say it's Marshall law but personally I think we need to get our Natonal Guardsmean back home and patrol our own neighborhoods! Lets clean up our crime before worrying about everyone elses!

So 100,000 hey? How about the thousands saddam had executed when he was in power? Atleast these people are getting a taste of freedom now. When I was in Iraq the first time they were finding mass graves of people he had killed, people who were forgotten and put on top of one another in mass graves because saddam was a coward and was a power freak. Us ending that is wrong? Those people have been fighting each other for thousands of years and will continue but atleast we are trying to bring some type of freedom to them to make their own decisions and see life in a better way. People like you are impossible to talk to.
