I had a friend

any way im a guy and I used to go to a co-ed school. I had a lot of friends and a lot if crushes. So anyway I liked this one girl the most and we had known each other a long time...
Anyway so now im 12 and I am at an all boys school. I look back at my friendship with her (although I still kinda hung out with her) and I think that I have to stop loving her or it would ruin the friendly relation ship we have. So we go out to dinner and I think I wasnt able to keep my cool and it looked like I still loved her.
The next day I send her this whole long message:

_____, You used to be one of my best friends and now you have stopped talking to me. You still think I like you. I have a girlfriend molly....its been kinda secret but I do.I cant figure out whether I am still your friend or not because you have stopped talking to me. All I want is for you to be a friend.If you like ____ or _____ its fine, I dont care.But Now you always leave me out of everything.

I havent talked to her since... and I ont know what to do after she told me I was acting like a little girl.....

Do you think it's normal?
