Just wondering, what do other people do when they're trying to get to sleep? I heard the other day that most people get to sleep within 5-10 minutes, with me it usually takes at least 15-20 mins unless I'm really tired. Sometimes I'll lie awake for ages thinking about stuff, so I find the only way I can stop stuff spinning round in my head is to imagine some situtation, like say I met a hot girl earlier in the day I'll think what could've happenend instead so that I would end up doing her. Or I have to invent some other scenario, usually something relaxing, say I'm stuck on a desert island or I'm drifting along on a floating bed in a world which is completely flooded. If I try and force myself to think of nothing at all, that doesn't work. This normal?
If you aren't drinking coffee or soda or eating before bed.. get a new mattress that agrees with your body.
