I don't know very much about you. You are 16, you have access to a computer, a decent grasp of the English language... it is highly unlikely that your life is messed up at all.

What are your standards' What do you think you need to be happy' The first thing you need to do is figure out what would make you happy and where you got such an idea. If you just got it from someone else, or from seeing how everyone else is, it probably won't work for you. It is entirely possible to be perfectly happy without money, a good job, nice things, family, or friends. There is no standard of happiness, and there are no rules to it. Anyone who tells you different is just trying to control you for some reason.

Figure out what makes you happy. And don't feel bad about being happy so long as you don't physically hurt someone to get there. Everything else is fine. If they're disappointed, shocked, disown you, it doesn't matter. You can't control what other people think of you, and it is fruitless to try. Those who take their happiness from how others view them are the worst type of people anyway.

Such is the price of being young. Dude, you have, what, another 60 years to get your life back on track' It's not stupid to feel that way - I feel like I've thrown my life away a lot of the time, and I'm nearly 20 (God, I still feel 17). The feeling'll pass when you find a direction to go in - there's plenty of life left to live.

Generally people who assume that kids in pain are emo don't really undestand the mentallity of a severely depressed child.
But bear through the pain, even if you end up homeless and on the streets in the future the alternative is either burning in hell or being slowly eaten by maggots.

Don't worry, daddy will put you back on his retirement fund soon enough and you'll be able to get those My Chemical Romance shoes that every one else has and your life will be hapy once again.
Also, you should go slit your wrists

Hell I'm 3 year's older than you, but I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes we all have realized we may have made some bad choices we regret. It's never too late for improvement. Your really young your life hasn't began yet really. I don't know what you have been through so i can't say that I can relate. Sometimes we have too go through a little pain before we can have pleasure I guess.
