Hey man I empathize with you trying to protect your rep. But Let me say this, in High School (assuming you still go there) the friends you have from high school are likely to be gone by the time you graduate. If they were really your firends they'd respect your choice of G/F.

So if you are only worried about your rep, you will be unhappy throughout high school and miss many oppurtunities. Trust me high school is only a blink in your life. I got through it alive. :)

Pick up two tickets to an event, a sports game, a show, a concert, at least a week ahead of time. Then, tell her you have tickets and ask if she would like to join you. Make sure you approach her a week ahead of the event. Most people will say yes, but if she is unsure, ask her to let you know within a couple of days. This way if she declines or comes up with some lame excuse, you then approach another girl. Simple enough and no pressure on you. Good luck.

you have nothing to lose, yet everything to gain. I'm quite older than most who post here, and have dated a lot over the years. I've had plenty of girls decline my invitations, gone out with some where we did not click and I found out early on, and also had great times with a handful of girls. All of these outcomes are completely natural and you will encounter them over time, there's no avoiding it unless you choose to not approach them which would be a huge mistake.

I don't have many regrets over my life, but one I do have is not giving some girls a chance because I did not feel at the time they were the cutest looking or considered the hottest looking to most guys. Dismiss what others think as far as beauty goes, their opinions does not matter, only your happiness matters.
