Waxing Underarms

Is it normal that instead of shaving my armpit hair, I wax it? I find that it leaves a cleaner look and the hair doesn't grow back for about two weeks, and when it does, it's very thin.

I'm female, by the way.
Do you think it's normal?

Armpit hair needs oxygen to grow. A more effective meathod is to seal your armpits with shellac. "paint" it on with a small roller 2X a day for 3 weeks. after that the follicle s will stop producing and go into "regressive follicle hibernation" RFH for short. Hope This helps ...
that doesn't sound very safe...
...and waxing your pits sounds very painful. Just shave 'em.
yes it is completely normal..i wax my underarms, and it does take a while for the hair to grow back and it comes out thinner, but when u shave it comes out like the next day and it grows back thicker.....thats why i loooove waxing cuz wen i put my arms up, i dont have to worry about people seeing tiny thick hairs comming out..so yea
oh really? how much does it hurt?
GREAT IDEA for that and your poo nanny . just go for it baby oh yeah
it doesnt hurt at all
ouch... painful but normal, waxing is better than shaving for prolonged smoothness
