How many people killed in Iraq? If you are talking about U.S. troops, it is slightly over 3,000, which is not all thar many after YEARS by my count. From what I've read, Iran does not yet have weapons. Influential Iranians advocate wiping Israel off the map. I believe that if Iran had nuclear weapons, there would no longer be an Israel. Nuclear capabilities do not equal nuclear weapons. Some wars need to be fought. Iraq was done under false pretenses. America shouldn't have invaded.

As far as your second post goes, by some estimates 30-40,000 civilians in Iraq have died, and by other estimates over 700,000 have. The way you phrased it, however, led me to think you were talking about the death toll of U.S. troops. What lesson should we have learned by now, that crazy Islamic fundamentalists are exactly that, crazy, and that they have no problems killing their own people? I mean, shit, the U.S. has problems, but you don't see Republicans and Democratstrying to kill each other, or suicide bombing innocent countrymen, women and children in crowded marketplaces, do you?
As far as nuclear 'capabilities,' that is still a far throw from nuclear weaponry. If they actually had nuclear weapons, don't you think the current regime would be touting that fact? Of course they would.
And as far as you calling the war 'illegal,' well, that sounds like something a crazy Muslim or a hippie douche-bag would say.

Ok. I will admit, you are correct on your first point.

Your third point is maybe half right. If you look at it from the perspective that it is not sanctioned by the U.N. and therefore illegal, then you are correct. It is a war, however. Not with the government of Iraq (we put them in, I know) or with the old government (long gone), but we are at war with the insurgents and terrorists over there.

Your second point is taken, but is not how you have presented it. Abortion is a ridiculously hot issue to some here, and pro-lifers killing abortion doctors and bombing clinics is somewhat comparable to what is happening in Iraq, but I think a more apt comparison would be if pro-lifers were planting car bombs at pro-choice rallies or something like that. Remember, in Iraq they are not simply sniping heads of state, but resort to despicable and cowardly means to achieve whatever the hell their goals are.

They are proving that when in darkness moves are made that would otherwise make no sense in light. They have dark plans to do away with their enemies, don't just ignore everything they are behaving like, but do the work of the lord, which is to spread his word selflessly and when we are about his work he will be watching over us who are his sheep!
