The guys you get off of the internet are likely to be a lot 'nastier' than the guys around where you live. The internet is no substitute for a real life.

Be extremely careful of strangers you meet on the internet. If you meet a stranger best to arrange it in a public place only and bring a friend so you are not alone. There are sick, evil people in this world, trust no one.

I will never even pick up a female hitchhiker while driving no matter how innoncent or cute she may appear. Someone with bad intentions poses a grave danger.

People in the internet are most likely to be looking for porn or other sex stimulants, specially when it comes to relationship with the other genre. So if you donīt want guys to be rude or sexual perverts, stop meeting guys on the internet. If you like it, then you are in the same page as them, and you are just another pervert so congratulations if that is the case.

I myspace/xanga dated this guy in Minnesota last year. He was amazing. But all my friends were telling me that it wasn't a real relationship because we really didn't connect. We didn't kiss or go on a date or hold hands. Hell, we never even exchanged numbers! But I really did like him. Still to this day I don't know if I loved him. So from what I learned through this experience, internet relationships aren't healthy. You can't really connect with the person on the other side of the screen.
