FDR and the New Deal
So, for the past couple of weeks or so, we have been learning the New Deal and Franklin Roosevelt. As we have learned, he created a slew of New Deal programs to help out the poor and hungry. It worked well but it didnt fix the Great Depression. Things like the CCC, FERA, AAA, and WPA were great.
My question is: Do you think that the government should be that involved with peoples lives as they did in the Depression. I mean i know times change but I think it should be the same today and i wish the president would be more like FDR.
They had to just print it and get people to do something for it.
That is not the case today.
Printing more money would increase inflation, making what money you DID have worth even less.
