Is It Normal?
What do you think?
Working Nights
Does anyone think working permanent nights is socially isolating?I only work with one other person and only see the dayshift for a few minutes at the beginning and end of each shift.
Also this leaves me knackered on my days off and not fit for a lot except to spend a lot of the day in bed!I have done this for four and half years now and feel i am losing touch with reality!Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes it sucks. My only advice is to get pissed the morning after your last night shift. If you get hammered and go to bed about 1500hrs, you'll wake up the following morning having slept through the hangover and daytime will feel normal again.
yes i worked that shift for a while .it was rough but not nearly as bad a 3-11,that shift kills the whole day and boy it really sucks working 3-11 on a fri night or sat night.
