Is It Normal?
What do you think?
not wanting to sleep
lately I just havent been wanting to sleep. I mean, as in just staying up all night. listening to music, going on the computer, boring stuff like typing this right now. awhile ago I stayed up until 4:30 in the morning just listening to records, getting freaked out by clocks making noises and moving backwards, typing conversations to myself on a typewriter, betting how long I can stay up. when I finally went to sleep I got up at 10 AM. it is summer holidays now, so I dont have school. Im sure I'll get tired of it (ha ha) soon. but im just wondering.

You sound like a tweaker to me, but only if you took the clock apart.

Yeah, this is normal, at least it's a regular thing for me. A few nights ago I didn't even go to sleep. Even during school I would stay up till 4:30, and get up at 5:15.
most people need at least 6 or 7 hours of sleep a night, if not more. do you feel really, really happy, or even invincible, or spend a lot of money during these periods? could be mania. lucky you, i wish i was manic.
During summer I stay up until at least 3 AM, sometimes till dawn. Then I sleep for a few hours, from as little as one to as many as six, and go about my day.
I love to sleep, but only when I'm really tired. I see what you're saying and agree. Sometimes sleep just seems like a huge waste of time. I feel the same way about naps too.

That is a weird sleeping disorder. Your name is cute could you email me sometime at Maxwell1500@yahoo.com with your name in the subject box.
its ok to stay up all night since sometimes its very good to sleep only when you are very tired (then sleep all you can). this helps you very much and makes you feel fine

but dont do it on a daily basis, you NEED to sleep well and its NOT a waste of time, it really helps you the next day (not only staying awake, but having a productive day)
