If there is one thing a boy does not want it is the scorn of his father. I'd bet boys would rather deal with the principal of the school or a school disciplinarian than an angry father. And, the father will not be too happy getting a complaint from someone that now forces him to deal with it. It is a headache to a father with all the other responsibilities he has to meet, and the father will more than likely read his son the riot act.

And for all we know about it, to involve the police can be incredibly bad because it can ruin many things for you both. Only contact the police if you feel it has become dangerous or if all other options have been exhausted thoroughly.
