Don't waste your time or energy with any girl who tells you she has stronger feelings for someone else. That is another way of saying she doesn't value your friendship regardless of her earlier stating she had feelings for you.

There are plenty of single girls out there who do not burn both sides of the candle and do not play guys. Drop this girl and don't look back.

I've dealt with girls like the one you like and look back at it as a waste of time to bother with them. These girls like to have a safety net if one guy dumps them so they can fall back on another guy and always have someone there.

They are fickle and more a nuisance than a pleasure to deal with. Let her come to you, don't pursue her. It's still a waste of time IMO, but you can date her briefly, there's nothing wrong with casual dating others if a serious relationship is not what you want.

A girl who tells you she has stronger feelings for someone else, is a person not to have anything to do with.
