As for the sexual part, that is normal. Many people have the fantasy of not being in control. But in the actual relationship itself, that's just simply you being selfish. A relationship must be 50/50 between both members. No one person can take "control" of a relationship. It's love, not a business deal.

I totally agree! I believe most women would be happier if relationships were that way! Who said anything about a business deal? I believe this to be the ideal relationship and it is 50/50. And who says you can't mix it up every now and then with your partner? Appreciation, communication, devotion, honesty, respect and tact will truly make it work between two mature and committed people!

the 50/50 myth is total BS hippie crap. one person will always dominate the other in various domains. maybe by *luck* it comes out to 50/50 (not that it's even quantifiable), but for the most part one person is always more dominant/submissive in sex, finances, social, etc. Stop being a dirty hippie and go with it...you'll end up having a lot more fun.

look, fair enough with the sexual domination but you can't control his life like that e.g. if you broke up he would be so screwed up. he would be searching for someone to control his every move like you do. he wouldn't know what to do with himself

yeah, i dont think the 50/50 shit is very realistic. although it is definately the ideal, i dont think it happens very often. I think certain personalities tend to be more submissive than others. But it is still unfair to want to control someone's life and what they do...especially what they say. enty labwa
