Get to know her first. Get some indication that she is attracted to you. Establish a talking relationship with her, and try to learn, without direct questioning, if she is attached to someone else. If she smiles when she sees you and obviously enjoys talking to you, you have a chance with her. Otherwise you do not. Most boys prefer pretty girls, so they have many choices.
