My story might sound stupid, childish, or retarded but it is indeed REAL...
You see when i was in kindergarden(Yes, kindergarden, the one before first grade) theres was this girl who would sit across from me, we were the greatest of friends , everyday after school she'd come play in my front yard or we'd go to eachothers houses for sleep overs(our parents were close friends after we met so we got to go over to eachothers houses all the time), anyway more to the point of the story, after kindergarden her mother(who was divorced by the way) found another man, and so after kindergarden was over she had to move away to Texas(thats where her mom would be get married), and now its 16 years later and i still think about her...
but why? Is it normal to feel that way?
I think is ver sweet. Romantic. And very sincere.
I say, it's completly normal.
She was your childhood friend, and still having thoughts about her is completly natural.
I can only feel how bad you felt when she left.
If you can, and it's within your power, look her up, say hi, keep in contact.
again, this was very sweet!
