No, I don't think you have any abnormal issues. A bottle is a vessel from which to drink, and if it is convenient to use a certain vessel, then so be it. Using a bottle does not make you a baby or messed up, if it is truly purely functional.

I actually used a sippy-cup when we went on our boat, it rocked badly and it worked.

If you like milk so much drinking from a babys bottle is pointless unless you make the hole a little bigger

Hi there, Well it might not be totally normal to love milk as much as you do, maybe there are some psychological problems going back to your early childhood, some trauma, did you get enough love and comfort as a child. Or did you alot of love and comfort as a child. Maybe you are doing this for comfort because it takes you away from the pressures of todays society and takes you back to a time where you feel safe and warm. Have a think about this hope this helps

NOT EVEN NEAR NORMAL...Most people dont see a problem here! You truly have something wrong you, i love milk & alcohol to but if i saw a grown man drinking from a babies bottle i would either shit my pants or belt some sense into him. Get help URGENTLY.

i find it a little normal when people eat baby food (adults and kids) but drinking from a bottle is a litle gross, you need to stop.

I would never drink from a bottle around anyone else. it's just something that i've done a few times by myself. I've made some extra holes in the nipple so it would flow out a bit faster. It's all for the prolonging my 'milk drinking' experience. I usually drink it at night before I go to bed, and don't want to drink so much that I'll have to wake up to go to the bathroom.

I had plenty of love and comfort as a child, and it's not to take me away from any pressure. It's purely for being able to slowly consume my beverage and enjoy the taste. Yep, it's weird, and it's not something I do every day. Just every now and then. I keep the bottle hidden!

I'm not becoming a fag. Not interested in that at all. I'm all for my woman. Actually the bottle sucking is somewhat of a pain, but i've found that I can get the same satisfaction from 9 ounces of milk (from the bottle) as I normally would get from 24 ounces drinking from a cup. I usually have 2-3 cups of milk before going to bed.

As far as a sippy cup. That actually sounds a lot easier and will probably accomplish the same goal.

If you had no justification for your reasons then yes it would be weird but your explanation was very well said and do not believe it is weird at all. For you to clearly state you know it seems weird and then that the reason you do it is for the slow release perfectly justifies your reason for doing it. In the eyes of your explanation, you are not sucking on a baby bottle for milk... you are using a 'tool' to enhance your enjoyment of milk.

Psychoanalysts would have a field day with this. Although one could argue that drinking liquids from a nipple-shaped apparatus could be due to an oral fixation, that would only be the case if you found a sort of serene, comforting feeling with the action itself. Because you expressed that it is only for the taste and longevity of the liquid, in this case, non-human milk, I do not see an abnormality from a psychological standpoint. You also did not express any concerns during your childhood development.

Honestly, this issue comes down to what is considering sociologically normal. Grow men are supposed to be alpha males: rough and ready to take on life's challenges. Drinking from a baby bottle is a passive, child-like action and others would frown upon it for that reason. For proof, just look at the scene that some adolescent women subscribe to: walking around with pacifiers, watching Winnie the Pooh and Barney, etc. It's all about societal norms, and your practice is not yet acceptable considering your role in society.
