Am I a Cat Lady? (READ THE WHOLE THING!)
i love cats... i love cats so very very very much. i have about five myself: minky, binky, slinky, dinky, and bobo!
when i told my husband i was considering getting another one- he moved out! he said "im not coming back until you get rid of the cats."
i am a volunteer at a cat shelter. it is one of the biggest shelters in america! there are hundreds, hundreds and hundreds of cats! it breaks my heart to see all of the cats... who are all beautiful, and completly miserable. to see them crying, and clawing out of their cages all day, it breaks my heart. some of the cats share a room with other cats, and there have been some cats that have fought over food, and sometimes killed each other. ive seen dead cats before. its awful.
so i feel wonderful, everytime i get a new cat from the shelter. i feel like ive made a big difference, rescuing just one little cat from a little shelter.
i donate lots of money to charities for animals!

theres this beautiful, little kitten named rosie at my shelter. she gets bullied a lot by the older cats! i want to take her home so she doesnt end up like one of them, or die! when i told my husband this, is when he left me. all of the younger kids on my block make fun of me, "the cat lady", and my coworkers all say nasty things about me behind my back.
by the way, im not some crazy old hag who just has her cats! (even though now i just have my cats) i am 23 years old and i am a graduate from duke! (i married my husband four years ago.)
i cant just let my cats go back to the shelter!
is this normal???

Here your husband has left you, yet you mostly talk about your love of these cats. You seem obsessed. Get help around you cat thing & marriage.
BTW I like cats. One way you could help is to develop more human networks & friends who could adopt some of these as pets (not as a substitute for other things).
