I have a preference for white men, but I can find other races attractive. If I ever dated a black man they wouldn't act "gangsta," even if I like rap music, I wouldn't want to be seen under the arms of someone who looks like a drug dealer.

There is a black guy in my class who has the hots for me I think, and he's cute, and he doesn't dress and act like a thug, but I just don't feel his personality. I feel more attracted to the personality of white guys I don't understand it, but I just do, and I don't think that makes me a racist, especially since I love everyone of every color equally.

Actually I forgot to mention I think that black guy in my class thinks I'm a whore, because one time in class when he helped me with something on the computer he said "You can thank me later" and winked. WTF is that suppossed to mean? LOL. He's weird, but everyone else seems to think he's so "cool."

If you're serious about dating, it makes sense to me to stick to people who share your cultural vaslues - whether black, white or whatever.
This society is not as segregated as it was in the '50s, but I think there is still a difference in the avergage black and the average white.
Even so, you might do well to keep (or get) an open mind.

No I don't think you're racist. I think you treat every race with respect, but you just have a preference. If someone asked me to go out with a 4'11, 400 pound man, I would say no because I'm not attracted to that. That doesn't make me prejudice, I just have a type as long as I still show respect.

Well, if you have no tensions or any bad feelings when your just talking to a white person, then you are definitely not racist. A racist person would actually hate every single person of that races' guts, as well as teasing them constantly, and maybe trying to persuade others that your race is better than theirs.

While there are obviously more interracial relationships and marriages today, statistically most people will still stick with their own cultures. That's a fact. Let's not talk about what a white person thinks about dating people of other races. Statistically, ethnic minorities will also tend to stick to their own cultures, that's the way it is.

I'm currently at a dating website and I wasn't surprised at all that most white women only want to date white guys. They're not racist, but that's just the way it is.

You're not racist, you just know what you like. It's normal and perfectly human to feel most comfortable with members of your own race/ethnicity.

I personally am not attracted to black, asian, or mexican guys. Mabey mentally but not physically. I dont think that it is 'bad' to be any of said races.Nor do I think that white people, like myself, or any race are the dominant one.

umm no it does NOT make you a racist. before africans discovered that there were white people in the world, they only bred with their colored mates. Does that make them racists? NO.
Now there is the exception that African's DIDN'T have access to a rich and diverse bevy of women (as I am supposing you do *coughwinkcough*. So if you only associate with white girls, and totally exclude colored girls then yes you are a racist. However since in your question you succinctly stated that you do associate with all girls no matter their race, I would have to say that you are no racist.
Besides you're forgetting the most important point, you're human, you may say that you're not attracted to colored girls now .. but give it some time and pressure and friction and your predispositions will quickly (hopefully not too quickly) change.

If you wouldn't date someone who you like and find attractive solely because of their race - then yeah - that's racist. If you don't like and find attractive another person solely because of their race - then yeah - thats also racist.

I prefer white and asian women to black and latina women, i don't see this as a racial thing, but more of a "i prefer mine skinny" thing.

I'd like to add that i don't think all white and asian women are skinnier than black and latina women, i was just using that as an example, and by prefer i don't mean i would never date a black or latina women.
