Ants eating ants

Good day to everyone, including a possible deity.

The other day I saw an ant eating another ant. I told several people of this event, and got some replies that left me indifferent. Is this normal?
Do you think it's normal?

It was probably aninvading ant from another nest that why it got eaten
Ants are very territorial and will fight to the death for their piece of ground and when they win the fight they have no problem eating their foe. I guess you could consider an ant a cannibal in its own rights.
My friend told me that when he was little he had two ant nests in his garden. He used to collect a handful from one nest and throw them into the other one so he could watch them fight.

Sounds sick, but I wouldn't mind watching that to see how they fight.
How did you know that i was reading this? I am the "possible deity", btw... are you sure it wasn't just performing cunnilingus on the other ant? It could have been "eating" the other ant without resorting to cannibalism. Or ant-ibalism.
it's normal. ants are desparate cannibals when their former friends are dead!
"Or ant-ibalism" - You are aware "cann" isn't a word meaning human?
They are at war. This is way out of your league
cool i wanna see that.
"Release the ants of war!"
Well I sure as hell am indifferent, so I guess it must be normal.
check national geography. crazier stuff happens there than an ant eating an ant. A wasp will lay eggs on an ant, and its larve will eat the ant's brains, decapitate the head, and then burst out a few weeks later. Very cool
O my.. this is scary ... I now understand how u felt indifferent =/
thats one f**ked up ant
