i read parts of his book it real dumb, one of his rules was "if someone enters your lair, you can rape him" or something weird like that

Well, Anton Lavey's book was interesting, though it had its strange parts. It's really not nearly as scary as it sounds, and a whole lot more rational than some other religions.

As a Pagan (NOT a Satanist), I do practice magic every now and then. I also use divination to gain insight on problems. I wouldn't call that the black arts, though.
