I read the man's book & thought it was ok as not more than a book. Here's the thing, I don't know if Anton Szandor La Vey thought of or presented himself as a philosopher but based on his Satanic Bible & church, he's religious. His philosophies were that of a religious nature & The Church of Satan is a church. The Satan Bible turned me on no more than The King James' Version of The Bible or The Book of Mormon or any other religious dogma I've taken time & patience to read. Is it normal to practice the satanic religion? Of course. Does it make you any less a sheep than a god-fearing person? Nope. You've just made up a shepherd different from the one the jesus folk made up.
