I take it you're being sarcastic with the whole 'they take up pretty much my whole breast', unless your breasts aren't fully grown/small.
We're all different. If you see those topless models, most add makeup to their nipples to darken them. Nobody's perfect.

Check the inside of your lower eyelid. If it's pale as opposed to red you likely have an iron deficiency. Long term iron deficiency can cause pale nipples, lips etc.

If that's the case you can take supplements but it's better to get it through red meat as the supplements can have side affects. It's not something that will change over night though and in some cases it's irreversible.

Some women actually end up getting the colour tattooed into their nipples : /

i dont know if its normal or not but i have the same thing and my boobs are not small.
