I don't think this is normal, ah, I am a teen too. there might be many reasons behind it. However, I don't think as a teenager he would like to communicate with you about this issue, so if he's uncomfortable about it, and he wants to see psychologist for help, don't ask why just support him to seek help. But if he's comfortable with it... it's another story.

It depends with each person......I personally like it (don`t ask me why, I just do it--in the end it`s my very personal life right?).....saying that, I think you should let him decide...As for "please help me in understading this".....since you (I suppose) are a woman, you cannot understand (how could you?) just let it be..he`l get over it in time.

Feelings are strange things in an persons live.
Every one has them and has differend ones. Where they come from I can't explain. Its the same if you ask about if you like for example men or women to have sex whit or what kind of food you like.I don't like to receive kicks in the nuts mine self but sure do like it to give it to other people. Have then an feeling of power over them. And no he's not weird or an freek. I don't know your son but if he wouldn't talk whit you about it than you have to ask your self how importend it is for you that he knows that you know and if there is something you win by talking about it. So it will be all right. Let him know that he always
can talk to you about everything but let him deside when and if he wants to talk about it.
