Half an hour ago, I was very frustrated on myself. I hadn't studied for my college at all, and the exams are coming near. So I got so angry that I started beating myself. I couldn't stop, so I ended up spitting blood and have a big pain(it still hurts).
But however, I feel better now. At least the anger is gone.
I haven't done such things before and I'm not asking if it is normal. I just feel strange, and wanted to share it with someone.

You've been watching fight club too much
when you get angry like that try boxing.. like get a punching bag and just regularly do it. It helps with anger so much. I know a few people who punch a whole in their wall and their hand bleeds but I mean its not really normal to beat yourself up to the point where your spitting blood so try the punching bag thing and see how that works out for you.
don't beat yourself up :( . I agree with michele90 try boxing, martial arts, punching walls, shouting, go for a walk and think about things or next time just study. W#hatever you dodon't do self harm.

You should get a punching bag, or take wrestling or martial arts classes. Whatever fits your fancy.

I used to beat myself up all the time. On Prozzak now so I'm more controlled.
Normal to get frustrated. Normal to ventilate. But hurting yourself? That's just bad strategy.
try weed or meth or next time beat yourself till u cant feel anything!!

but i don't run 10 miles,just about 3 exhausht me to near death,and all the anger vanishes like ...wooosh
cutting is such a better alternative
