My best friend likes the same guy that I do. I know that I like him more than she does though. She just lusting after him and I don't want to see him get hurt. If I tell her to back off, I'll sound weird. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!
It's ok if you both like the same person, it's not that unusual. I wouldn't tell your friend to back off, rather just go after the guy, and approach him. Good things often do not happen if you sit back and wait.
In the end, the guy will pick and choose and your best friend may no longer be your friend. Weigh your preferences, if you care far more to be friends with the guy than your friend, then proceed and go for him. If your friendship with your friend is more important than the guy, simply back off. It's up to you to decide what you really want. I think you want the guy more than maintaining your best friend relationship.
