I had cancer 7 years ago and had part of my right lung removed. The cancer never did come back, but one day a couple of weeks ago, I was in the shower and I coughed up some phlegm and I spit it out and it was dark red. I have spit up phlegm a few more times after that with a lighter red color an then green and then dark red and now it is just green phlegm. I haven't coughrd up any lately. I am trying to with no success. I know I should see a doctor, but maybe it is just a lung infection and it will go away. I haven't told my wife and I know I should.
Do you think it's normal?

pneumonia can cause you to cough up blood or you could have another cancer or maybe its just a broken blood vessel......either way with a history of cancer go to a doctor NOW.

dont worry its just your throat were you cough some times the vein at the back of your throat can tear its nothing to worry about but for your own piece of mind go and see your doctor.

And try not to worry or you will get your self down and its then that the bodies emune system is at its weakest!!

you need to see a doc asap! would if ur cancer came back? when ur ass finally gets to a doctor they are gonna say "im sorry we caught it too late" and that will be on you!!

you better have some good life insurance!
