Is it normal not to feel hungry even though you haven't eaten in 2 days. I know i can't be anorexic because normally I'm a hearty eater and I know I'm not overweight or feel that way. Its just lately eating seems like a chore. Any advice? (mature comments only please) thanks!
Skybird, is that you? I recall you saying to some person who insulted you that you are a "healthy weight" with all your insistance on being "perfect" I wouldn't doubt that you are anorexic.
If you aren't skybird(or even if you are) I'd suggest you go see your doctor because loss of appetite can be a sign of multiple different health conditions. For instance that happened to me, and I ended up having mono for two years without treatment. (for those of you un-informed people you can get mono from someone coughing on you or even sharing a drink)
Could it be some underlying depression? When I get depressed I lose interest in life-related things, including lack of motivation to eat. Two days seems a bit long though (I have gone a day without eating, and then will usually force myself to eat because I know I have to to keep healthy, not because I want to, but I don't really "enjoy" eating when I am depressed). If this continues I would seek out some professional advice.
I think you are fine. I never get hungry anymore as well unless I haven't eaten for a long time. I'm not depressed and my life is very good! I do eat, but I'm not hungry. I just eat to stay healthy.
You should only eat when you are hungry. It's good to give your digestive system a break. However, you should snack on an apple and stay hydrated. You don't want to get sick, Oh and pop a vitamin if you have it.
are you or were you really nervous about something lately or stressed, b/c that's why i wasnt able to eat, i felt like i had to make myself, and when i would have tried to eat i would gag...i was also away from home at the time, maybe you just need to relaz a little
If you aren't at all hungry it is because you are too lazzy and don't exercise enough. i know if I dont exercise on a regular basis my hunger goes way down.
Ok, there is definitely something wrong with you, but it not a big problem. It happens to me all the time for stretches that are several months long. Just establish an eating regimen and eat food like medicine, because let's face it, you know you need food. Also exercise helps. It makes you feel hungry again.
after you dont eat for awhile.. you wont get hungry..... eat a fruit, something small, or else you will have a really bad stomach ache. then when you are hungry, eat something else small, then eat a real meal.
