Hi, i have not been able to sleep for like 3 days now ( i fall asleep for like 1 hour and then i wake up and can't get to sleep) I am 16 years old and should i go to the docs and am i old enough to take sleeping pills?
Do you think it's normal?

Go to a doctor. Schedule an appointment ASAP, tell the receptionist it is urgent and you can't wait, that you haven't slept in days. Avoid taking any pills, leave that for a doctor to decide.
Try some benedryl. That always does the trick.
Avoid the quick and easy way out first by taking some sort of drug. Go to the doctor and maximize your options on ways to increase the amount of sleep without the use of some sorta chemical. Taking those things are used as a crutch, you gotta find healthier of ways of doing it!
I wish I can stay awake...I sleep like crazy...I try to wake up but I can't. 3 days already. I sleep for 14 hours and I don't know what to do either. I think I am stress that's why I just want to sleep.
If you can you can go to the doctor.
some ppl can sleep for like an hour like u, and have enough energy for the whole day, like me when i was little i would take a nap for like 20 mins, and be awake for the rest of the day, still like that now.
make yourself busy to get tired.. and don't be nocturnal
do not buy sleeping pills!!!!! they are very addictive try putting on music or reading a book thats what makes me tired
well, do you get enough physical activities everyday ? i used to take melatonin, it knocks me out in 30 minutes, but now i can hardly sleep without it . i am trying to get off of it, been "clean" for a few months now . the melatonin was reccommended by my doctor . maybe you're like me and you think too much . every night i always think about my future . i literally go through every possibilities . i still havent found another way to fall asleep easier except for melatonin .
dont worry i have the same problem but dont rely on sleeping pills bcoz they are highly adictive and once you come off them you still have the same problem except worse. maybe somethings is bothering you talk to someone close to you that will understand your problems.

By far the best way to deal with your problem is to furiously masterbate then immediately fall asleep afterwards.

Be careful to do this when your parents are out though as if they walk in on you lying on your bed, surrounded by porn with just one black sock on and drying semen all over the place you may have some explaining to do.
3 days is normal
3 days defo isn't normal. Like I've said to another person on here before, have you tried "toning down" before bed. Like relaxing whilst listening to music in dim lighting whilst maybe reading a book. A cup of tea or maybe alcohol (but not too much!!!) and maybe, though I know it sounds like a little kids thing but really works, warm milk with honey. Then, in bed, stare at one spot on the ceiling or wherever until your eyes get tired then, ican assure you from my own experience, you will fall asleep. If all else fails DON'T resort to drugs as you will become reliant on them. Use herbal tablets - they do work well. Good luck :3
Its called mild insomnia, I have the same thing, there's no cure your fucked, so am i.
