Cliques are just another way for people to judge one another and it is wrong. People should be able to dress the way they want, talk the way they want, act the way they want, ect. We don't need the d**n media or other basterds telling us what to think! If you dress like a 'prep' then act like a 'punk' then I think that's your oppinion and these bitches should just get off your back. So just due away with all this c***py clothes, type of speech, friend group, and all that other s**t! OK?!?! My friends and I are all way different, but some are similar and we think it keeps things interesting! So f**k all that clique sh*t and hang out with who you want to. do any of you agree with me?!?!

half the things you just wrote were judgemental to the "bitches" that have been "judgind" you. If you really don't believe in it then don't get caught up in the cycle.

You yourself are being judgemental right now by calling people 'preps' and 'punks.' Everyone has their own way to be. Anyone can act any way they want and dress any way they want. You're just letting them get to you. Who cares what they think as long as you are comfortable and are being yourself? Everyone uses labels, but they are just generalizations. They're stereotypes, mostly based on how people dress. People wear what they are comfortable in and do what they are comfortable doing. Take a chill pill and don't worry what others' think. If you want them to stop categorizing you, then you have to be the bigger person and stop categorizing them first.

I take it you are from the United States??? In Britain we don't have this problem because we're not Brainwashed muppets. We are all individual often having friends who are like minded with extended friends from all backgrounds. The answer to your problem is move to England.

Cliques are about hanging out with similar people. They form because you tend to seek out people similar to yourself. It is completely normal. That said, you should try to have contact with people in other cliques. Whether you like it or not, you are in a clique, just one that is not well defined by the media culture. Look up the definition.

I should probably ellaborate on "similar people". These are people who hold one or more important things in common with you. Whether it be a hobby or a belief.

If you dont want to be in a clique then you'll have to become a hermit.
Groups of friends will ofter dress similar, I bet u and your friends do, or at least try no not look a certain way.

It's a tribal thing, deal with it and grow up a bit.

i hang out with so many different kinds of people, and i dress however i want to some times i wear clothes from american egal and sometimes i wear bob marley shirts lol be friendly with everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cliques are fine, they're for people to hang out with others like them. Without cliques, junior high and highschool would be more boring, and it would be harder to make friends. :/
