Whenever I hang out my washing, I've got to put the same colour clothes pins on each garment. Is this normal?

This may be a O/C problem. Or since you spell colour that way, you may be British. I think this behavieour has something to do with the direction of spin of toilet water. Correct me if wrong.

Fairly normal. Everybody has a touch of OCD somehow... if it doesn't do you or anybody else any harm, don't worry about it.
