The act which perpetuates the human race and provides us with so much pleasure is neither evil nor obsolete. Reproduction is essential to life; it's simply part of the purge and renewal process that has been going on for millions of years at all levels of creation.

Like all things that are pleasurable, however, it can be overused and perverted. The article's author states that, "Sex often ruins friendship, stimulates lies and unfair play." I believe he also mentions something about health risks, goals and priorities being misplaced, etc. I can't say I disagree with this. However, the total abandonment of all sexual activity seems unnecesary. Learning to manage one's sexual desires is more realistic.

So sex, like so many other pleasurable activities, can be abused or used wisely. I see no gain to be had in trying to retrain the human psyche to totally reject sexual desire, but I CAN see much to be gained in rejecting the kind of commercialized sexuality that tends to reinforce the behaviors that the author is trying to avoid. He's on the right path, but he's gone a bit too far for most of us to be able to really see him.

I think more can be gained by rejecting sex all together. It ruins far too many lives. The pleasure people receive from sex is basically the same as pleasure received from heroine or other drugs. Sex has become far more than just a reproduction tool. It is a drug, and must be dealt with the same way as drug addictions; through sexual rehabilitation and prevention. It will be more difficult to purge sexual desire from adults who already have a sexual addiction, but it should be fairly simple to prevent children from having sex. Most children, when they discover what sex is for the first time, are completely repulsed by it. We need to use this to our advantage by grossing them out even more, to the point that they would never even consider having sex. We must produce a %%u2018vaccination%%u2019 of sorts to ensure that children never develop sexual urges while developing a greater means of extracorporeal reproduction. This will eventually save the human race.

Because we need to get as many followers as possible. If some suicide cult leader killed himself before finding followers, there would be no real point to it now, would there?

That aside, we aren't really against humanity; we are just against sex. We believe there are better ways to procreate than sex, and we need to seek out those possibilities to find out what's best and go from there.

You are ridiculous. I don't really feel like responding to your rubbish, so I'll just paste the portion of the FAQ relating to sex and nature.

First of all, natural doesn't mean good. Diseases and death are also natural. A "Natural" lifestyle is for monkeys and other animals; civilization itself is quite unnatural. And on the other hand, sex is very different from other physical needs: it is not required for the survival of an individual (only for the entire species), and, in the case of Homo Sapiens, it dramatically, at least 100 times, exceeds biologically reasonable level. Animals have short mating periods during which they become "insane" (there are common terms like "march hare"); humans experience this insanity during most of their lifespan! The higher is a species' grade of development, the less is mortality among adults and especially children; therefore, the less if the need for procreation, for sex. For a sentient being just a few matings in the entire life are sufficient. Humans do not follow this principle. This is unnatural, it is a disease of the entire species.
Mating without the aim of procreation is as stupid and awful as eating and immediately vomiting out the food; it is possible in case of a severe illness but cannot by considered normal by any means.
