I crack my back about ten times a day at least, it just realises built up gases which sit in between the joints, I've been told it shouldn't do any harm, but you should ask your doctor yourself, because all professionals don't seem to agree on the same things if that makes any sense? I do seem to think it's become a habit for me now? Because if I don't crack it, it seems to hurt more.... Like I'm making the gases build up quicker by actually cracking it? Wow we really should get out more!? Lol
I crack like all my bones like my toes, ankles, knee caps, hips, all of my back in at least 3 different ways, my hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and my neck 4 different ways. I think you're normal but I crack too much d:
I freaking love cracking my neck. In fact, I love cracking any and every bone I can. It feels great.
I sometimes go to the extreme when cracking my neck and end up thinking I'm going to snap it, then stop.
In regards to it hurting if you don't. Maybe you're just putting a little strain in the muscles of your neck from cracking it. It doesn't sound like anything serious.
