Oh my goodness... I thought I was the only one! I don't know if it's normal or not... but I have to tell you it has happened many times to me. It's creepy. Once I dreamt I was riding my bike into my garage and then whammed into something. Soon enough, it really happened and it kind of felt like I wasn't really there. I wonder if we should see a doctor...

LOL, I always have those dreams too. I probably have dejavu on a regular basis. Down to the point that I think that your life is already pre-written. Sometimes those incidents don't happen till months from the actual dream.

i'm so glad to hear i'm not the only one, and yet also afraid. does this mean that our lives are "pre-written"?? happens more than i'm comfortable with. thus far it's never been anything "bad" (knock on wood), but it's still strange and unsetteling.

I just had deja vu when I was posting something on here, and I didn't post it because of my friend's reaction to it in my deja vu. For me it isn't like a dream as much as just a feeling that I have been here and done it before.

Good, So I'm not the only one! I have had at least ten times where I think, "Haven't I seen this before?" , and I see faces and even hear details... I don't know why, but I had a ten minute session that seemed scripted... Oh well , it's kind of fun.

Yeah I get that all the time! Recently I've started to pay more attention to it. I can never remember though whether I have seen the incident in a dream or if I just randomly thought about it, or if it feels like a memory. But the most recent and vivid one I had: I was sitting in a room on a bed, facing a guy who was sitting on a chair and he was holding a bag of food or something and he was talking about how some chick gave it to him. I don't remember when I had this 'dream' but I know that I didn't know the guy at the time. Then, last week I was at a hotel in Tokyo and my gay guy friend was hanging out with me in my room. I was sitting on the bed, he was sitting on a chair with a bag of gummy bears, saying that his other friend gave it to him. It just hit me and felt so weird.

it happens to EVRYONE why u call it "deja vu"? u must have heard the name for it from people close to u. "deja vu" = an individual feels as though an event has already happened or has happened in the recent past.

it doesn't mean u can see the future, coz u remember seeing it only during/after it actualy happens. doctors also call it a "false memory"

seeing future in the dream isnt a deja vu.
recently I had a dream of a conversation with my neighbour in the dream it happened like this:

my neighbour comes while i am with my mom he sais "any news?" I say "yes, someone is asking "How much you want for them?"" he sais "how much do you think they cost?" I say "I dont know, we should've went and checked the price"

on the next day it happened like this:

my neighbour comes while i am with my mom he sais "any news?" I say "yes, someone is asking "How much do you want for them?"" he sais "how much do you think they cost?" I say "I dont know" ( at this point I think "this is too much like the dream i aint gonna say anymore") and my mom then sais "you should've went and checked the price"

it felt so funny and wierd its like the universe made it like it should be despite what i wanted XD

Ive had similar experiences but mine were more vivid and in some ways tragic, i once had a dream that i was in a motorcycle accident (even though i dont ride bikes)and that i was told by the paramedics that i wasnt injured and could go home, then 3 weeks later in the local paper a man had a motorcycle accident in the same area but was told he wasnt injured and could go home i was soo freaked!!! ive had more dreams where theyve happened in real life and been in the paper or summat it really freaks me out i dunno what to do about it....

you're not seeing the future, and everybody does it. Deja vu is just you brain misplacing memories (you could say.) Basically, it takes a memory that should be in the short term memory part of your brain, and accidentally puts it in the long term memory part of your brain. So no, you're not seeing the future, but really don't worry about it.
