I dont think ALL women play with themselves. I think that the sexually healthy ones do and the prudes that will never have amazing sex bc they dont know their own body dont. In short if a girl has never masturbated STAY AWAY FROM HER not only will she be a terrible lay but she will also be BORING.

Humans come in all types and I am sure that there are girls who never masturbate but they must be undersexed.
I once had a girlfriend who had never masturbated until I gave her some "instruction and information" on how to do it. She started after this and told me how she did it. She was 23 years old at the time and I was quite puzzled by the situation.
I think most girls take more arousing sexually and so many of them do not have sex on the mind as often as we men have so perhaps this is why they do not seem to be so keyed into the habit as we are.

Totally normal. I masturbate, of course for the most part its a personal thing that I do in private but I'm not embarassed I just rather not talk about it to the girls, usually unexposed to the statistics, who get grossed out. I do it about once or twice a week, usually when I find something arousing or when I'm just bored. I also think its better to be more aware of your body espeacially if you've never had sex. Its a real stress reliver too, I'd recommend it.

Many women don't masterbate or, rather, not often. Point blank, everyone gets horny and wants to visit the bermuda triangle from time to time. In my experience there are certain times that we get arroused easily, generally right before getting our periods. I do it a lot sometimes and then can go weeks without. Some women don't "need" to and some "need" to all the time. The sex drive of females is different just like the sex drive of males. But your girl may be saying she doesn't because of embarrassment more so than worrying about how you would feel about who she's thinking about while doing it. I know there is no particular man I think about, the sheer act alone is enough to make me go the extra mile. Maybe you should try masterbating together??? You will definitly know if she does or doesn't while doing something kinky at the same time. ;)

I would give a good guess that about half of all women finger themselves. Probably for the same reason a guy would, boredom, stress-reliever, thinking about someone, although some women think it's disgusting and never do it. I don't blame them. I've never masturbated, I think it disgraces yourself.

Not all women masturbate. I've tried it, and it honestly doesn't do anything for me. I hate the idea of fingering myself, and it's not because I'm a prude, I just don't like the way it feels. But for some reason when my boyfriend does the same thing, I love it.

And to all you people who say that girls that don't masturbate are boring or bad in bed, that's a terrible generalization. I've got a great and interesting sex life, it just always involves someone else. And I know my own body just fine too.

As a woman with a very rich sex life as well as a rich self-satisfying sex life :D ... I first off must say that I highly recommend that all you women out there who say you don't do it just give it a bash - there is nothing to lose. When having sex with your partner, you don't necessarily always have an orgasm, but when indulging in a bit of onerism - you will ALWAYS cum, hands down, no contest. Your orgasm is as good as your fantasy and where you are in your menstral cycle.

Now, to answer the question : personally, I barely ever think of men I wanted, had or couldn't have, rock stars, actors and bullshit. I dredge up a lot of my darkest fantasies and whoever the man is is immaterial to me. Most often I don't even see his face or he's masked. I think most females probably masturbate, just like most males. The ones who don't would probably be a VERY small minority. I think nearly everyone has a sexual urge, and hardly anyone is getting all they want or need sexually from some partner, so will at least occasionally resort to self-relief. Sure, plenty of people will lie and say they don't, out of shame over the act. That is human too, lol.
