I wanted to know if it is normal as a women to look at porn for self gratification? I do it about 2 times a month. I hate myself afterward but, I am singal and can't enjoy myself as easily with imagination.
Most women are usually satisfied with their imaginations or fantasies - not visual like men are.
Are you actually a man who is hoping to find other women who may be into porn so you can show your girlfriend and try to convince her that she should watch porn with you... because other women do it?
I do sometimes, but for the most part I think porn is stupid and can cause serious problems in life if you become addicted to it. Not saying that would happen to you but I would try investing in some toys if I were you.
I agree that a lot of women get turned on by porn. I think there is now more women friendly porn out there now, more about a womans fantasy. I don't think you should feel guilty about it at all! It's natural! I think some porn is a total turn on for masturbation.
You have no idea how many women watch porn. I had a party a little while ago, and ALL of us girls started bitching about how porn is so male focused and porn for women is so much more expensive and hard to find. I mean it's all the same except that watching a gal give a guy a blow job does nothing for me. Even my most prudish girl friend joined the convo. We ALL love porn, girls just talk about it less.
My ex wife use to hate all 90 minutes of a porn movie. There is nothing wrong with watching porn. I do and I'm just fine.LOL Do what you have to do. If it bothers you I could watch it with you and help you through the guilt at the end. LOL Enjoy it. Now I have to go and take care of something LOL
I do it, sometimes to laugh at it, sometimes just b/c haha. I am completely straight though. Sometimes i watch it with my boyfriend too. I mean w/e, porn was meant to be watched, and though most girls wont admit it, it can be hot. I just like it to get ideas of what my b/f might like haha
from a worldly perspective, yes its normal, VERY normal, i know plenty of girls that have done it...ive done it.. do it...shouldnt.. but in a religous manner its not ok at all.
That's completely normal.
Everyone who likes it should do it.
Our society tries to keep females down by saying that they shouldn't like pornography. That's completely sexist.
I've never dated any woman who enjoyed porn, (or admitted to it); but I've had some female friends who liked it. In fact, some 20 years ago or so, I had a very close female friend who admitted once in a group of several people that she liked porn, but didn't like watching it alone but wasn't interested in having sex and that all guys who watch porn get horny and would want sex. Well...we ended up watching porn together regularly. About once a month or so, (when she or I would buy or rent a new movie), I'd head to her apartment, we'd order pizza and watch the whole movie. We always stayed fully dressed and never engaged in any sexual activity ever. I did excuse myself to her bathroom on occasion to "take care of business"; but we were just friends. I've known a few other women who liked watching it, too - I just never dated any.
My ex-wife - after we were divorced - told me once that she'd never seen a porn film and wanted to watch one with me. It never happened. She was my ex and was just horny because she hadn't dated anyone in the months following the divorce and I wasn't about to get all tangled up in that mess again just because we were comfortable with one another. But I digress. Yeah, some ladies watch porn and like it. Some don't. Some do and don't admit to it, (kinda like masturbation). I'd say it's probably less than 50% who watch it without doing so for the pleasure of their partners.
thats tottally ok. women have been conditioned to think we should think porn is gross and not want sexual gratification only romantic love, but most women want both and its fine
Sometimes but not to pleasure myself. sometimes I find porn disgusting and I just can't pleasure myself with it. I guess evryone has there own sexual prefences
you know i once heard a statistic. 75% of women take showers 3 times a day and 50% of women masturbate in the shower. so based on this data it wouldnt be abnormal to 'gratify' yourself.
There is nothing wrong with looking at and enjoying porn when you masturbate. When I have a BF we somestimes watch it together as foreplay. :)
The problem is that Most porn is, well, not disgusting, maybe, but to "hard" for my tastes. (with one Notable exception ;) I like my porn more gentle. Fortunnately my current BF found a place that specializes in Romantic, though explicit, sex.
For me, I prefer Written erotica really - I can get a better mental picture in my mind than just watching people on a screen - I wish guys liked written porn more than watching, but...
Women can be just as visual as men. Imagination doesn't do much for me, either. It only makes sense that SEEING people have sex would be more arousing than IMAGINING people have sex.
For me, the only problem is finding lesbian porn FOR lesbians, not for men.
I walked in on my Girlfriend of the time watching girl on girl porn once. I was like "Whoa! let's do what they're doing?!" And all was well, why shouldn't women be allowed to have a little imagination helper?
I do occasionally enjoy watching porn just to get off, but I don't enjoy discussing it with other people. Women think I'm disgusting for it, and men treat me inappropriately after I confess. It's completely normal.
I usually do between 0 to sometimes 6 times in a single day.
I'm male of course but a woman rubbing one out is no different.
Also theres no reason to feel guilty, that is probably unusual did you have some kind of crazy conservative parents that told you it was a sin or some bullshit?
Um... Yeah... Well i imagine myself as a woman, then watch porn for self gratification, does that still count? But tbh it doesn't, cuz i'm actually a man, but seeing as i'm on IIN, NOTHING REALLY FUCKING APPLIES!
I read some study where they measured body responses to porn.
Men and Women were on average equally turned on by porn, but more women denied it than men (were they lying or unaware of own feelings? - who knows)
For men, all you needed was naked bodies doing it (we are such uncomplicated creatures, just show some T&A and we are good). For women some context / setting / story and emotions combined with actual sex was usually the ticket (you know, the part the men fast-forward over).
I recall seeing a book of "blue-movies" for couples. A girl told me that as long as it was a movie produced by Blake (I think), it's hot.
100% normal - if you feel bad, just tell yourself God made the middle finger the longest for a reason (just like he gave man the oposable thumb).
This turns out to be a very popular subject. I've discovered with past girlfriends that it's pretty common. One of them had a subscription to Abby Winters, an Aussie site which is very soft. Another liked reading a lot (with one hand). She was pretty classy, I guess. Some of her favorites were novels by Anne Rice, writing under the pseudonym A.N. Roquelaure, and "Delta of Venus", by Anaïs Nin.
Women surprise me all the time! One girlfriend confessed to being turned on by that infamous scene in "Deliverance" where Ned Beatty was made to crawl around on his hands and knees, without pants, squealing like a pig. I admit that hearing that made me stop and go, "hmmm..."! :-)
I'm a 22 F. And i love porn. I'm not ashamed to tell anyone who asks either (unless it's family, ew haha) Porn is awesome. And gets me off right quick :)
I used to love watching pr0n! Sometimes I'll indulge, but I really don't agree with the industry at all and avoid it. In the end, I'd rather have an intense and fulfilling orgasm utilizing my imagination than a fast, pointless one from porn and feeling that twinge of disgust/guilt afterward from violating my belief that human beings should see each other and themselves as human beings and not objects.

i am a girl amd i watch porn when i feel i need sex but can't have it!
Everyone masturbates.
It's fun, relieves stress, and feels really good.
