When I was younger, Blue Peter (kids t.v.) said collect postage stamps for the starving Ethiopians, they needed them.

It's harsh, but then it occurs to me that if people were supposed to live there, then the land would be a little bit more appropriately equipped to deal with people living there. People sending them stamps and money is just prolonging the inevitable in my opinion.

People asking for food seldom bother me and if I see beggers I never give money but will occasionally pick them up a take out meal. What is annoying are the people not using birth control and/or their governments not investing in it. You can't eliminate poverty but they can at least be responsible and use birth control or get their tubes tied/vasectomies done.

I work with several Ethiopians and out of my experience I would say they are absolutely the greediest people who do not know how to work on a team or follow any rules. I feel like I am constantly baby sitting them because I frequently have to remind them to be fair and they truly in their mind think I am being unfair. I live in Dallas where a lot of these people live and I really cant stand these people.
