Does anyone like the smell of tarmac

Whenever I'm driving past roadworks where new road is being laid out, I open my car window to smell the gorgeous smell of tarmac. It is such a beautiful organic smell. Does anyone else like the smell?

I love it, I often thought I would like to work on a paving crew just to enjoy the smell.

my friend really likes it, he says it has to be dry first then get rained on.. i just thought he was odd lol. makes me dizzy personally xD

Hmm, gasoline, I love that smell as well, especially when I'm filling up my car, I wish I could just put my nose by the petrol nozzle and sniff it while I'm filling up, but I'd look silly :)

You might like using "coal tar soap". I am not sure if you can buy it in the states.

I am from the UK not US, do they sell coal tar soap in UK? I like the smell of tarmac, but I don't want to go around smelling like it, lol.
