My brother was playing with my guinea pig in his toy ambulence and it got stuck in the back so we took it to the vet. The people there thought it was a joke and turned us away, so we had to really shake the truck to get it out, and not it has a cut on its ear and a bald spot. The vet should not do that I want to sue is this normal?
Do you think it's normal?

sure his ass off
First of all, I agree with frozen (but sue, don't sure).

Second, why didn't you try cutting open the toy instead of violently shaking the poor, distressed hamster?
YOU REALLYE OUGHT TO SURE THAT BASTARD! HE SHOULD BE SURED!
dang the guinea pig proably has brain damage now. I think you can sue for being turned away but not for cripling your own animal...
you should try putting your hamster in your vaccuum cleaner!
dont put it in the vaacum cleaner you fucker! no dont!!!

SUESUE
SUE SUE SUE!!!!
sue sue sue.

tel me how it goes,love!
put it in the freezer,

it will make it better.

*im a hamster too,*
my mom put my hamster in the freezer when my cat gave it internal bleeding...poor brownie....
since this is not a stupid question ill be serious (yes i can be serious) ill say you should sue the vet because the law says that a vet always have to listen to an emergency (which i would say that a hamster stuck in an ambulence is) and the second thing dont put the hamster in a toy car damn it its actually seen as a crime of animal torture atleast here in denmark
When you say "we" took it to the vet, was an adult present with you? Did you actually show the vet the trapped animal, or did the entire exchange take place on the phone? If you were actually in the vet's office and were turned away, I can only assume the office was particularly busy that day or the reception staff may have failed to appreciate the seriousness of the problem.

I somehow get the feeling that there is an adult missing from this picture. If so, it's possible the vet thought you were just being silly and wasting his time.

At any rate, if the vet really didn't have the opportunity to check the animal because of a miscommunication, you might want to return with your guinea pig (hamster?) and have the cut/bald spot checked out. If nothing else, some antiseptic drops might be needed to prevent possible infection. If the vet really was the jackass that you suggest he/she was here, then see another who specializes in small animals.

And next time -- for the love of God -- DON'T put piggy in the toy ambulence. Bad, bad, bad! Guinea pigs are such sweet little creatures -- I'm sure you meant him no harm, but they are chunky little buggers that are not meant to be wedged into miniature metal vehicles.

Now, give piggy a carrot and sin no more :-)
Aww, crap. I just noticed this was posted, like, five months ago. I hope piggy is doing better now. Fellow piggy owner, here. Take care of your little friend; the poor little guys only live about 5 years, you know.

its a nasty discusting rodent that will live.. unless you shook him too hard... let it go... dont sue... if it dies go to the pet store... what are they 7 bucks or something?? and dont do something as retarted with the next one.
you all are funny... you would sue for something that i would trap if it ever came in my house... holy.. you are getting more worked up over a rodent than the people with health problems on the site... i think you all need some brain scans.
